*All servers are installed with our recommended unix
operating system FreeBSD 5.4. If you wish to use a different operating
system, please let us know.
**All servers on our network are protected by our border firewalls. Only the "ports" you wish to be made public will be opened through our systems. You are still responsible for making sure your server is correctly security patched. If you wish to have full control over your firewall settings, then please upgrade to a dedicated firewall solution.
***All common "ports", for example http, pop3, smtp and "alive" are monitored every 5 minutes as part of your contract. If you supply us with a mobile number, you can also receive text alerts if problems do arise.
Following our sucessful network upgrade at the end of 2005 (full information can be found on the WFCS site here) we are now offering an additional 100GB of data transfer for each server ordered before the 31st May 2006
